Lobster Monster 3D model by Bawarner Lobster Monster 3D model by Bawarner
Made base mesh in Maya, sculpted in Zbrush, then transferred to back to Maya with normal map and poly paint map on low poly model.

And since this model isn't as "low poly" as it could be, I updated the model here [link]

its actually just a view port screen shot in Maya, at the time I had no knowledge of programs like Marmoset or really any good presentation skills.

This is awesome! Great job on transferring all that detail onto a low-poly model. Really lovely design :D

Pretty sweet model and nice detail transfer to low poly. =) Is this aimed at game or film?

I was doing this just for fun and practice, but since I'm studying game design, I'm trying to aim my stuff more towards game models.

well good job, it looks great. Only thing I have to comment on is that for games you'll really want a much lower 'low poly' model. Other than that, awesomesauce.

I uploaded another deviation with the actual low poly model I started with, I added an extra subdivision to this model because I thought it would look better, but I guess it looks pretty good at the lowest subdivision too lol. [link]
